How to choose a wedding photographer

Your wedding photos are one of the few things from the day that stay with you for the rest of your life. Choosing the right photographer is less about finding "the best" and more about finding the right fit for you.

1. Start with style

Documentary, editorial, classic, bright and airy, dark and moody. Look at a few portfolios and notice which photos make you stop. Then look for a photographer whose work consistently feels like that.

2. Ask for full galleries

Anyone can show twenty great photos. A full wedding gallery shows how a photographer handles the whole day: dark venues, harsh midday light, family groups, the dance floor.

3. Meet them, even online

You will spend more time with your photographer on the wedding day than with almost anyone else. A short call tells you a lot: do you feel relaxed, do they listen, do they ask about you and not only about the schedule?

4. Understand what is included

  • Number of hours and photographers
  • Approximate number of edited photos and delivery time
  • Online gallery, prints or an album
  • Travel costs for weddings outside the city

If our way of working feels right to you, we would love to hear about your plans.
